so, ive downloaded many versino of this game, Freedom Fighters but it isnt working it requieres 128MB ram and 32 mb vram.. i have all these but it also requieres directx 8.1 and i hjave directx 9 i start up the game and i hear "EA Games, Challenge Everything" than nothing

Probably the game is too old to run on your station...I had this problem with Total Annihilation some time ago, it didn't want to run because the DX and operative system I was using were too advanced

ok do this: go to system propieties Advance Performance Settings Advance Change and set 128-256 Try this and remember to keep you old memory settings

Have you tried running the game in "Windows 98\ME\2000" mode? Sometimes that's the solution

I have a lot of problems with old DOS-working games. They run windowed or they don't run
