IV install prob

I'm using Deamon Tools to install IV, but it seams like some file is corrupt or something. Is it really corrupt or is it a Deamon readin prob?

Try to install it with other program like ALcohol 52% or Gizmo.
If it won't work then file is corrupted.

I dunno I have instaled the razor one w/o problems

wasn't the software called alchol 120% ? anyway if i still have it the disc i could send u the data2.cab but i am not sure i still have it

There are 2 versions: 52%, which is free, and 120% which could burn CDs but isn't free.

Tried Alcohol but like the name, looks like it's drunk, once it starts reporting errors it never ends, plus, terrible virtual drive..

yo dude, in deamontools you have to switch emulation options on.
you need a green icon, not a red.

but normaly you can install the stuff without probs, deamontools or alcohol is needed when playing the game and they have to simulate the copyprotection.

i think your iso is corrupt..

@neo7, you gonna upload 6,7GB??? because data2.cab is that big. and the disk must be UDF

Re-tried it on my laptop this time, with DAEMON Lite, works fine untill I select the 2nd CD held by DAEMON's drive, errors too..

i installed it on my friend's pc extracting both the disc in a folder and opening the setup and it went without problems..try it won't ask to put the 2nd disc too

Doesn't work eihter ways.. I'll ask the guy who gave me the installer to pass me the installed folder.

i have install the GTA IV with Deamon Tools too but is working perfect maybe is a .iso problem download another.
