help with gta sounds!!!

hi people,i need your help please!.look i have one friend that have gta sa but he can't listen the engines of gta sa,but he can listenthe other sounds.he look and check the folder of sounds but don't found nothing ploblem,so....what can be?yes you can answerme now much thanks for your time.he only put in his gta sa two cars:1978 ford taunus,and 1967 gt500 eleanor how that i have in my signature.nothing more its all.

1. Sometimes it happenes when it is raining.
2. You friend screw up the game and it is reinstalling time.

it took me 10 mins to find out what he said but i got it lol
this happens due to sound mods and it happens a lot, that's why id rather install sound mods, last time i did it, the braking sound was replaced with the raining one
tell him to get rid of sound mods and never reinstall others otherwise his SA will continue bugging and other sound bugs will come up
btw, to others, translation:

maybe but he doesn't install sounds,he install this two cars :taunus and gt500.he should reinstall his gta sa for listen the engines and the sound of voices and footsteps of carl can't listen too.
because is the only that he can't listen.and the more crazy is that he can listen the engines of the cars that drive the people.

I have a few advices. =)
1. Let your friend check the sound options, maybe he removed sound by himself ? lol
2. Tell him to reinstall his SA, well, 2 installed car mod is not such a big loss I gues...

1full thanks guys for your time and help!,i found the fuck**ng problem,in audio setting of his pc are one special option that he can only listen one type of sounds,i'm would disable it and all done! he can listen all sounds,thanks at you, he are very happy,sure you know that is very bored gta sa without sounds no?,well,problem finished,full thanks again at all, my friends!!

sticking to the topic i personally don't use sound mods. I would, but every time i install one with SAAT it buggers all the other sounds like walking, opening car doors etc... Are the other sounds buggering cause i downgraded 2.0 to 1.0? or do sound mods just f**k everything up? LOL sorry for the mini topic in a topic but thanks :X

Did you trie saat front end gui ???

i first used saat in command/batch mode.
until i found the saat GUI ( graphic user interface) addon for SAAT
with that one you can import all stuff perfectly cause the gui reads the length of the wav's you import.

i only had probs with replacing bike sounds (sanches/fcr/nrg)
And try to replace the sound with equal length wav's. when the original sound is shorter that the mod, you also get weird things.
