Hm, serious drift cars (D1 for example) are totally modified. So I think doesnt matter the cars origin. I think there would be some differences, if you would drift with a stock Nissan Silvia, after that with a modified D1GP Silvia...You wont be better if you drive an import car, you need to have skills to be good, or to presentate a masterpiece drift. And stock cars arent planned for drift, so its a little bit hard to asnwer this question.

not really the stiffness of the chassis matters my Vote goes for imports cuz they have powerful engines tho they are lighter also the chassis is lighter :nah:

muscle cant be controlled, most of them has no limited-slip differential. Imho u should get an AE86, buy some new springs, and get a ticket to a local race track.

hmm, in my opinion its the imports who is the best. i mean. in TD, how many muscles did u see as drifters ? and how many of them are in the pro drifting leagues ? but then again. as shown above in that movie with extremly bad sound quality, the camaro does a good job for the Falken drift team. and so does the Mustang

SM: in muscle cars' name that number means the size of the engine, like a camaro 350's engine is 350 cubic inches.

lol, the only thing you need to modify on a car for it to be ok at drifting is the suspention.. you dont need have 500bhp to be able to drift.. so any car can be a good driftcar as long as you tweek it a little.. no moneysucking operation there...

Um, Import arn't just Japanese cars.
Imports are cars that you bought from another country and had to ship to your country.
So really, Muscle Cars are imports too. xD
Still, it's better to see a Tuner going sideways, but always better to hear the roar of a Muscle car.
So i don't know really...

I've always believed an Import is a japanese imported car bcuz u then will get a version with right steering system. And its proberly bcuz the cars cant be bought at any dealership.. They have to be IMPORTED...

In germany, US cars are called "US Autos".
Back to topic: still a bad question, since it does not depend on the car, at least not on where the car is built, but more depending on who drives it and which skills does he have.

yeah, any rearwheel driven car is possible to drift in, some just need suspentionupgrades so they dont roll over like a turtle lol.. and umh i think you forgot the fantastic german engenearing.. like the bmw m3, great car for drifting but it sure aint no "import" if you by import meen jap's.. but then again that wassnt really the question. i personally aint a fan of american cars, so i would preffer a jamp sang nees car.. lol
