how i can install mods on gta?^^"

If you want tunable use IMG tool 2.0 or not tunable with SAMI
How to use IMG Tool:
1.Open gta3.img (gta folder/models/gta3.img)
2.Edit>>> Find
3.Commands>>> Replace
4.Go to handling.cfg, carcols.dat, carcols.dat (gta folder/data)
open them with Notepad
5.Replace it with this in readme.txt

SAMI:
1.right mouse button over the zipped file
2.Continue
3.Continue
4.Finish

a little hehe.. berfore i was using a program called gta mod installer or something like that.. but i lost the program like all my data in a HD ._. that's why i make this topic to ask for some help.. i wanna install that great model of rx-7 veilside.. xD

Want a hint? Don't use SAMI, install manually...just get urself any IMG Tool (Alci's IMG Tool, Spark, GTAGarage IMg Tool, or whatever), Editpad Lite (to manage all the gta text files without having a sh*tload of opened Notepad windows), and if you're a perfectionist like me any GXT Editor tool, and install the mods manually...much more reliable, every time I used SAMI it f!cked up my game

No it doesnt! The game crashes only if u install bad mods or mods with improper readme that do not convey the exact data required for a perfect installation

Usually it does. Every time i used SAMI my game crashed. That's why i install everything manually.

All the mods you download here are good

Still, I'll always recommend a manual install, so if the readme isn't actually made specifically for SAMI you won't have particular problems...after all, a manual install takes...what, two minutes?

But still, do as you like the most;)

EDIT 2: still a noob question, and i dont want to make many topics so i edit again.. i saw many GREAT screens about some WONDERFULL cars on san andreas, of cos on carbon gear.. but i wanna ask.. those scenaries and those maps.. arent from need for speed maps? or im wrong? or did you used some special effects or something? o.O

No worries about that....install as many cars as you want

As for maps, you must either use SALA 7.5 to increase the number of IDE and IPL, to install how many maps you want, or just stick to either a huge one or tons of small ones....up to you

IDE and IPL are the files that define where all map objects are positioned...ya know, coordinates, etc. SA has a limited number of IPL and IDE files, so when you add new maps you reach this limit. Using SALA you can make the game support more maps

An no, it's not about switching from map to map...it's about having more map mods installed at once

to reiterate what falken was saying, you can add plenty of maps (instead of using them back and forth)... you just need to use SALA to do so (san andreas limit adjuster) - an IPL is an Item Placement Log (stores all the info on what goes where/how/when, ect, ect) and an IDE is an Item Definition Extension (a smaller, more specific explanation of individual items contained within a IPL) - when using SALA, you increase the IPL and IDE limits of the game making it possible to have more than one map in game at any one time ~80)

IDE and IPL are file types.

Everything to do with IPL is usually found in the MAPS folder in your San Andreas directory, and IDE are files that can be opened with basic tools like Notepad or Microsoft Word.
Basic setup places GTA SA here:
C:\ProgramFiles\RockstarGames\GTA San Andreas
Map folder can be found here:
C:\ProgramFiles\RockstarGames\GTA San Andreas\data
Unless you put in your own installation path, then it will be where ever you set it to.

Any IPL file, that's involved with the map you're trying to install should be placed in your maps folder.
The read-me for maps usually says if you can put it in the maps folder, or if you must create a sub-folder within the maps folder.

Usually though, maps are just a simple copy and paste then a quick edit of GTA.dat which can be opened using notepad.

The read-me should tell you what to do there and where to paste everything.

thanks guys ^^ and when you wanna go to the other map it is connected to the normal gta map or...? cos on normal servers i dont think it can run properly

BTW where i can get those special maps from NFS to install them inside gta ?
