History in the making : Our First Year...

I was thinking bout the forum and i thought it'd be good to keep a record of things that've happened here on CG and how this Forum came into being. All those months of sleepless nights trying to get this forum on the right track. Well it wouldn't have been possible with out you guys

Aug 30-2007 : I met sharan on file front

Sep 2007: We started spending hours chatting bout mods and stuff. He then told me bout Flinta and his mods. We decided that we should team up with flinta and start our own modding forum. Flinta liked the idea but he was a very busy dude back then hence he was unable to spend time with the project. He did visit us often when ever he was able to.

Oct 11-2007 : 5:12 pm {+5:30hrs GMT} We started our very own gaming forum

Nov 2007 : Sharan convinced me to join Asc. I felt like a needle in a haystack there But i'm actually happy that i joined asc at that time cause i made a lot of friends there and...




Dec 2007 : We did nothing special in Dec :hic:

Jan 2008 : I met XSB and Urko who kicked in along with George and they started hepling us with the forum.. Tnx guys

Feb 2008 : CGFO planning and preparation

Mar 2008 : CG FaceOff Modding Expo 2008

Apr 2008 : Contest end and Award Ceremony

May 2008 : CGVT planning and preparation

Jun 2008 : Contest end

Jul 2008 : A lot of us quit Asc, Aftershock, tremors etc etc.... Someone tried to hack us.

Aug 2008 : Started Plans for creating our own game for PC

Sep 2008 : I was not around during sep hence i have no idea what happened in Sep

Oct 2008 : Planning and recruiting people for our first animation movie.

Nov 2008 : :hic:



Well that's it till Oct, Atleast i think so Keep Adding Special events to my post. You are all welcome to comment on these events.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but what type of animation movie is it? (I don't spend much time here so I don't really know what's going on)

WOHAO! altough history is not my favourite subject but who will miss to read the history of carbongear! (not me!)

now im really waiting to see what will be its FUTURE...
can someone here make a future history?

Funny to see what happend this year, i am sorry i was not very active in the beginning... but i was the first in public to register on this website ^^ thank you alot guys! you have done a great website for gta chatting and alot of other things to talk about.

I remember when I first saw this forum when only 5 or 6 ppl registered my first reaction when I sow eze on cg ohh not another noob witch starts modeling but when I saw the pics my reaction was

wow i remember when we met on Asc.. i was a n00b in that time,didnt know anything bout modding.. things have changed since then and yea,i know,my ego changed a lot since. 'Till the mid of june,i sat my ass flat making mods, i got a hard scoliosis because of it (spinal stuff), but then i met Niki, and since then, everything's better I'll stick to mods and CG, but Niki's more important then anything

awww... I told you so...

It has been a great year for us.. i love it here too, hopefully we'll see more great things as we head off into the future.
I wasn't too active the first month or 2 i joined up, but then i started to post and you guys just accepted me as one of your own.
The site, site logo and people have involved through the year, this honestly is the best site i've ever been on.

I have to say the same thing as XSB.
I'll always be here on CG to help out, but Asta is more important.
