| materials editor - select the material you wanna make reflected - textures editor - secondary slot - add the ref map, then go to "edit" and "simple mode", change "mix with previouse" to "low-level additive" and "Manual UV1" ro "Auto-sphere environment" thats it | |

| And when exporting add a [env:#] with a number (#) higher then 20 if you wanna get a greate level of shiny, obtaining a more realistic chrome effect. | |

| Specular doesn't look good, basicly looks cheap, most of the time so I don't like using it. | |

| I add both, and specular is always required to make the objects brighter, env is only for reflections,if you use a strong reflection map only use values between 4 - 10,,and spec is always 80 at me. | |

PS: how to fix this:
I see it´s to much chrome... well, it´s very easy to fix You got the material name of the chrome right..? This is an example how to fix your chrome: ChromeMaterial [env:2] Env makes it possible to to decide how strong you want your chrome to be. in my eyes 2 or 3 looks best. I am sorry, but i can not explain better for you.. anyway i hope it will help you | |
