VGA poll - please help! Urgent!

I'm buying a new PC tomorrow, and i need to decide between these 2 cards, since the 1G HD4850 i ordered didnt arrive.
Please help me decide!

I'd go with the Nvidia, since I don't really like ATi.. for no reasons but still I'd prefer the vidia.

I like Nvidia too but I've found the Ati 4850 video card witch is almost equal than Nvidia cards witch are almost double as price here

i voted for ATi. I like them better, and tests wrote it is about 10% faster then the nVidia. Dunno, we shall see tomorrow. My next post will be from my new PC

I voted for the ATI. Nvidia is just the typical over mentioned brand...the new ATI HD series are equal if not superior to the Nvidia cards and cost way less...

I used to have an ATI X1800, then I switched to an Nvidia 9600GT...the ATI, older, was way better...

ATis ARE superior to the 9*** nVidias.. though, i dont know about the GXT290, or idk card. But a 4870X2 should be even better than those. ATis were ALWAYS better, nVidia made better drivers.

I don't know about HD cards but I was gonna buy a 9900GT (or GTX dunno right now) for about 90 euros.. cheap I think.

First of all the options are wrong. If it was HD4850 vs 9800GTX+ I would buy the nvidia, but since you have only those 2 choices I would go for ATI

I bought the nVidia, since its a Gainward Golden Sample, and they gave an overclocking software for it, so i can tune it as much as i want,and the warranty will still remain

I'd prefer an ATi over the NVidia.

ATi has most troubles with opensource OSs and applications (linux, flightgear, just to name some), has no good driver policy, not that support for games NVidia has.
Enough to reccomend NVidia, without any "fanboy" or "hateboy" behave.

i actually reccomend ATi
as you can see nvidia has developed to DDR3 while sapphire wich has ati graphics has developed to DDR8
also using ATi graphics many things can be done
i use ATI and i done have any problem with it its really cool, i play SA with no probs and stuffs (only some crashes due to some mods)
the singple problem i have is my processor, i can use all the power of my video card thx to it

The HD4830 is suppose to compete with 9800gt not the Hd4850
